This was so much more than I expected. Oriane is an overworked nurse who just wants to go home after a long day, not to be followed home by someone from a different world. He says it's to protect her, but really? When she's attacked though, her entire world is upended and she realizes that her stalker, William, is actually there to help her.
Going to a world of magic from her human life, Oriane is definitely not in Kansas anymore. From one danger to another, there is now something wrong with the shifters in this world. William himself is a tiger shifter, but they encounter some sort of magical virus that makes them go wild and feral. But what if they could fix it? Can Oriane find a cure? When William is infected, she's given no choice but to try.
This story was magical and centered on the bonds between our chosen family. The way Oriane just took charge and was comfortable doing everything she could to help others was a great example of how humans should be. She truly cares for all beings, and even removed from her world she does her best. She finds not only her place in this magical world, but love.
