Jenna has just graduated as a Knight of the Order, along with her brother Jesse. They'll be separated for new jobs, but they're both in for quite the adventure. When Jenna meets Kipp, she has no idea what she's in for.
With the terrifying yet amazing revelation of her parentage, Jenna is thrown into a world of magic and fire. She is met with betrayal and violence, but also with trust and love. As she learns about the different cords she can see, she is able to use them differently to help her survive impossible situations.
I really liked the setup between Jenna and Kipp. I knew what he was immediately, but the lack of confirmation kept me hooked. The two of them are two sides of a coin, and I loved how the different relationships around her were navigated as well.
Low on spice, only kissing and implications of more.
Definitely looking forward to the next.
