This was impossibly relatable and hilariously witty. Cassie is an artist looking for a job and a cheaper place to live. When she finds a listing well under market value with her friend Sam, she jumps at it. Something's gotta be wrong...but she never expected it was because her roommate would be a vampire!
Frederick is a vampire who has just awoken from a century long coma where he's missed absolutely everything about humanity changing. He needs someone to help him navigate the modern world, and what better way than to search for a human roommate to help him!
As you can imagine, things are awkward, hilarious, and downright ridiculous once Cassie moves in. As Frederick opens up to her about himself though, they both become more comfortable and we get a very sweet romance out of this. Of course, it's not without barriers and shenanigans. This is a must read!
