Merritt and Hulda are in for a wild adventure in this one. While Merritt is trying to figure out how to use his magic, Hulda is working to get the job of Director of BIKER. Of course, this leads to multiple new problems to solve along the way for the both of them, but at least they're together. Until they aren't. Hmm.
Accusations of fraud, misuse of magic and even murder are now on their list of things to set right, but they may not be able to do it on their own. Owein is struggling too, and is doing his best to communicate in dog form. Their found family is very much highlighted in this one, and I loved it.
