Theo has been alone in her cabin with Dog for a while now, and that's just the way she likes it. Away from her crappy ex-husband Will, and away from, well, everyone. When she ends up being attacked by a being from Faerie, her whole world changes.
Will catches up with her and decides he's not going to take no for an answer anymore and kidnaps Theo, taking her straight into a vampire nest. She is able to escape, thanks to the help of another woman there, and ends up face to face with the sire herself. How on earth is she going to get out of this one?
Now her Guardian, Farranen, has been commanded by the Queen to try and continue the Faerie race with Theo...for 60 nights...yeah it's exactly what it sounds like. But Theo has information that he should probably know...oops. When she meets the dark prince, Leif, she isn't sure what to think. Farranen doesn't seem to like him much, but he could just be a territorial Fae male, right?
Back and forth being hunted and attacked, controlled by forces beyond her comprehension, Theo does all she can to maintain her sense of self. Through betrayal, heartbreak, and rage, at least she still has Dog...
