This was a fantastic world built around elements of the different types of mental abilities in the Shifter world. Charity is taken from her desolate world and brought into another one that is proving to be just as dangerous as her home. What she doesn't know is that she's going to be an important piece in their puzzle.
Anton and his Other, Allium, have different feelings towards Charity until they spend more time with her and realize that she's exactly what they both want. And maybe she's ok with them both being inside of Anton's body once she can tell them apart by the color of his eyes.
Alliances are tested, formed, and broken and friends are found where there were once enemies. Everything comes together to give whispers of a world they can only hope for.
