This was a wonderful read! Full of the whimsy and banter you'd expect from English society in 1865. Kate is investigating the Commandments Killer for her new newspaper column with her dearest friend Caro, and continues to run into none other than the policeman Andrew Eversham, repeatedly!
With wit and cleverness, Kate navigates high society while searching for a murderer, while becoming closer to Eversham than she thought possible. They begin to care for one another in true regency fashion, and the result is absolutely wonderful. Interesting story, characters, and a great line of investigation for both of our main characters that kept me hooked from the first page!
